Privacy Policy

You can use Loop without signing up. Your library, listening history and preferences then stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Account: your email address, or the anonymous identifier provided by Sign in with Apple.

Profile: your name, @handle, profile photo and privacy settings.

Library and history: songs you like, artists you follow, saved albums and playlists, your playlists (with their covers) and what you listen to, so the same library, feed and statistics appear on all your devices and in leaderboards.

Social: who you follow and who follows you, follow requests and Orbits you take part in.

Notifications: a push token for each device where you allow notifications.

Bluetooth is used only to find friends nearby for an Orbit; it does not track your location.

When you import from Spotify, Loop talks to Spotify directly from your device. Your Spotify sign-in stays in your device’s Keychain and is never sent to us.

Photos you pick are used only for your profile or playlist cover.

Your profile, public playlists and leaderboard positions are visible to other people using Loop. With a private profile, only followers you approve can see your top artists, songs and listening, and you don’t appear in public top-listener charts.

Playlists are private unless you make them public; public playlists can be opened by anyone with the link.

We use trusted providers to run Loop: Railway (servers, database and file storage), Resend (sign-in emails) and Apple (Sign in with Apple and push notifications). They process data only on our behalf.

You can edit your profile, make it private, turn off listening history and notifications, and delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, library, history and social data from our servers.

Loop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
